Privacy Notice

Who we are: Antonio Funaro, an individual, of 28 Upper Baker Street, Liverpool, L6 1LX, United Kingdom, support@antoniofunaro.com. We are the controller of the personal data described here.
What the plug-in sends to our licence server
When you start the demo, activate a licence key or renew it, the plug-in sends our server:
- the licence key (when you activate) and the product you use;
- a technical identifier of your computer, derived from its hardware identity and not reversible to a name;
- the computer name you type when you activate (for example "Studio Mac");
- for the demo, a random device secret generated on your computer, and the date the demo started;
- technical information that any internet request carries, such as your IP address and the time of the request.
It does not send or read your audio, your projects, your files or your contacts.
What we use it for, and why we may
- To run the demo and to activate and renew licences: to carry out our contract with you.
- To stop a key being shared on more computers than the licence allows, to prevent fraud and to protect the service (limits on the number of requests): our legitimate interests in protecting our work and customers.
- To keep records of sales and refunds: legal obligation.
How long we keep it
- Licence and activation records: while your licence is active and for 6 years after it ends.
- Demo records: up to 3 years after the demo starts, so that the same computer cannot start a new demo.
- Technical request logs: up to 90 days.
- Records of changes we make to licences: 6 years.
Your account and purchases
If you buy on our website, we also hold your email address and your order. Payments are handled by Stripe, which receives your payment details; we do not see your card number. The website and the licence service run on Cloudflare, and we use an email service to send licence and renewal emails. These companies process data for us under their terms and only for these purposes.
We also use your email address to notify you of new installers and updates for products you own. These optional product update emails are enabled initially; you can turn them off at any time in your account. We store your preference separately from essential account, licence, purchase, refund and renewal emails, which remain active. Update notifications do not contain tracking pixels or links to download files directly.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these services may process data outside the UK. When they do, we rely on the UK's adequacy decisions, or on the standard contractual clauses approved for transfers from the UK and EU.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict it, or object to its use, and you can ask us to free a computer from your licence. Write to support@antoniofunaro.com; we answer within one month. You can complain to the data protection authority of your country; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We publish changes to this notice on our website. If a change affects how we use your data in a significant way, we email you before it takes effect.
